Hobart is Tasmania’s capital city. Famed for its starlit Aurora Australis is a world class natural light show akin to the otherworldly Northern Aurora Lights. With over a population 200,000, Hobart is like a big country town bustling with economic activity, and unique serenity that can be seen in the brilliant Mount Wellington which is absolutely jaw-dropping when it comes to its natural beauty. Hobart offers an atmosphere akin to a big beautiful English town. Hobart is also the cleanest city in Australia.

Things To Do

There is plenty to do in Hobart, take a long across the pristine shores of Long Beach in Hobart’s Sandy Bay, or go all the way to the world famous Art Museum MONA. What’s the bottom line? You will enjoy a place filled with the brilliance of creativity, and you’ll become enthralled by weirdness, and the eccentric nature of the art is on display.

Enjoy the cultural vibrancy of the sandstone marvel of old Salamanca Square’s architecture. Salamanca Square is a destination of complexity, and awe inspiring coolness from its melodic musicians that play at the Salamanca Markets on saturdays. But hang on a minute the exquisite local cuisine on display is also definitely a sight that any traveller would remember for days on end.
